Heuristic Path Planning Method for Multistatic UAV-Borne SAR Imaging System

Multistatic unmanned aerial vehicle-borne synthetic aperture radar (MuUAV-SAR) plays an important role in the applications of environmental monitoring and disaster warning because its distributed platforms can provide high-resolution imagery by fusing multiple measurements. However, flight paths are limited for such system since safety path length basic conditions guaranteeing effective observation. This paper first studies observation signal model MuUAV-SAR imaging system, then analyzes factors that determine resolution, while these all determined UAVs. Secondly, planning problem is established as a constrained multi-objective optimization (CMOP), which considers navigation performance UAV process completing task detail. For this CMOP, heuristic search method proposed to solve it, ensure each step achieves local optimum, it also list feasible solutions meet application requirements selection. Finally, experimental results verify effectiveness practicability method.
